* Actually we have already been there!
Robinson played for Leeds when they went to the semi-finals of CL and also with a supposedly good spuds side, as well as england. he was always ok but a bit error prone. Given had decent Man City and Newcastle sides and proved how damn good he is - sadly his more negative qualities match those of the top teams hence why no one has gone in for him IMO. Howard had Man Utd

One error or not, it was an error that cost them the game. [Edited on 25-10-2011 by Eck]
Last season Reina had a couple of clangers - one against Arsenal which cost them 3 points and he either did one the following or week before, can't remember which.
No keeper is not going to make a single mistake.
Really? Had no idea :O. The fact is, Reina has been brilliant for years. Chesney has only started to play well this season. He was pish before it.
Was he pish before?
Is Eck getting Fabianski and Chesney confused? (I'm being serious btw)
Chesney has never been "pish"

Chesney is probably the best keeper ever seen on a football pitch.

Even if he went all fabianski tomorrow, i'd still love him for smashing Bale and winking afterwards.
Don't mess with a keeper with metal rods in his arms!

Bale tried to injure Chesney. He failed and injured himself.

has anybody said Henessy?
no?
good, he's shit.
Also, anybody who says "he's a good shot stopper" about a goalkeeper.. you do realise the main purpose of a goal keeper is to stop shots? and most shit goal keeper should be good shot stoppers

The lad has only been playign for us since about November last year and has barely put a foot wrong since bar the CC which was a mix up between him and koscielny!
you only have to watch the 2 matches against barcelona to see how good the lad is - absolute top quality.
obviously im biased but i do see him week in week out and he is deffo up there wiht the best.
Reina and Cech have always been the best but both are on the wane now - look at Reina vs. Norwich for example. Still greta keepers though, as are Hart, Given, Friedel, Robinson etc.
There is no stand out keeper as the ginge says since VDS retired
Reina 'on the wane' because of a goal Norwich scored against us Give it a rest bob!

If he was still good he'd be at a team in the CL tbh

No.
I'm more confident of a CL spot again now. We are moving in right direction.
