thats what i thought. for what car it is, and its still like brand new with under 20k miles. bet the engine hasnt even worn in

Just had the Guy with the MX5 mail me offering £14.5k plus his car, I stuck the details into webuyanycar & they would give me 5245 for it. Hmmmm still ive agreed a deal on it so will wait for the deposit. If it falls through though Ive got a back up worth more

Dunno, thats just the back up plan at the moment anyway as ive agreed a cash sale over the phone with some other guy.

However this ones having trouble wiring me a deposit now, something to do with Barclaycard PINSentry & wants to pay deposit by cheque then pick the car up in about a week, hmmmm.

Aslong as the cheque clears fine there's nothing to worry about. Id love to let someone come buy a car with £20k+ cash

I wouldn't touch a petrol x5 with a bargepole inless you own bp . Plus id value x5 about 5k

There are fraudulent bankers drafts in circulation so you have to watch, I think straight bank transfer or cash paid direct into a branch of your own bank is king!!

Aye! The Diesel ones are the ones that are worth the money, the petrol ones nobody buys, hence getting asked if you want them.

Yeah I wont argue with that, overpriced, high running costs, although the bloke said he gets 22mpg? & no doubt will be a pig to move on!!
