The thing that i love most about BF3 over any COD game is the fact that everytime you play a map, its different. You know on COD that the map will never change so you find a route or tactic that suits, then just repeat and repeat. Boring after a while.
On BF3 the map constantly changes and evolves, you have to do new things each time because that spot/route you thought was awesome in the last game might be blown up/blocked by a tank.
I also dont get this "camping" nonsense peope are going on about on BF3, i really don't see it. Infact ive found the best way to play the game is to keep moving, stay still for a few minutes in this game and your dead. If there is some camper on a hillside they are easy targets, just drive a tank or vehicle round the back of them and knife the fuckers
Knifing on COD is also wank. How can a guy with knife beat a guy with a gun when hes running straight at him? Last night some guy grabbed me and was about to knife me in the chest but mwg shot him just before the knife went in, I didnt die, he did
COD has its place, its an arcade game and i LOVED gun game on BO. I wouldnt buy it just for that though, £40 for what is a glorified map pack (which they will then rip you off further later on charging another £20 for more maps, free on BF3) doesnt do it for me im afraid.

Ill hold my hands up ive been a die hard cod fan since the very first one came out on the pc. United offensive was by far the best having vehicles and very good game modes. Played MW2 till 7-8 prestige.
For some reason other than single player im not fussed for MW3 and even then ive heard the storys good but ends shit not sure if true.
I might rent MW3 for single player, but BF3 imo offers more unique games with vehicles and classes that are all required for teamwork. Ive also played all the BF and thing this is best to date

Proving that the war between Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 3 and EA’s Battlefield 3 continues to rage, video game-focused social networking service Raptr has released some interesting stats about how the two games are being received by fans.
In terms of playtime, Modern Warfare 3 has come out on top so far. On their respective launch days, Xbox 360 owners spent 40% more time with MW3 (6.19 hours average) versus Battlefield 3 (4.45 hours average), and during their first weeks, MW3 (20.45 hours average) was still ahead of Battlefield 3 (17.37 hours average) by 17%.
As a result of that, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has accumulated more total playtime in its first week than Battlefield 3 did in its first three weeks.
However, all is not lost for Battlefield 3 fans. In Raptr’s opinion data, 81% of respondents had been more excited about the launch of Battlefield 3 than the launch of Modern Warfare 3, 92% considered DICE to be more innovative than Infinity Ward, and 58% thought Battlefield 3 had a bigger impact on the FPS genre than Modern Warfare 3 did.

I loved COD when I was younger spent hours on it,but now I find it boring and I am tired off the constant battle getting shot as soon as you spawn ect
I tried the beta out for battlefield and even though it was buggy and had no jets/cars ect I loved it
Might be wrong in saying this but maybe battlefields more for the older generation ones who dont have the attention span of a 6 year old

You can't go for 10 seconds without seeing enemy on MW3 therefore the attention span thing is bullshit, you always have to be on your toes especially in games like SND. Battlefield on the other hand. some games modes. if they have all objectives you have to spawn about 2 minutes away from a flag, and if there isn't a vehicle available its ridiculous

Gap in the market for those who can't play mw3
over $775 million in 5 days.
Battlefield blog headline...
"Battlefield 3 sells 2 million copies in October in the US"
That $775 million is for the same number of copies as MW2 apparently

It can now be a comeback for anything they throw at bf3.
Will doyle owns MW3, your argument is invalid.
