Is it though? I don't know much about watches, which brands are seen as an investment?

It's all a load of bollocks TBH
The 'idea' is you buy a watch for £XYZ new, and next year if it's still 'unworn' boxed etc its worth the new RRP which is set by the manufacturer...in the case of my PAM it goes up about £600 a year. Unless the watch is a limited edition (one year only) it doesn't work out.
No idea what Davey is on about either. His 'collection' is losing him money without doubt, and I somewhat doubt his anniversary 'sub' is real anyway. It does make you wonder about the rest of his watches

I have spent a small fortune on watches this year and know that none are an investment! 1 tag, 2 Omega & U-Boat.
There is however good demand for Rolex and providing you bought at the right time, it will have appreciated in value.

Watches are a long term investment.. If you had bought a Paul Newman Daytona in 1969 for 70 quid your investment would now be worth Around 25k depending on the dial choice.. That's a pretty good return lol.

If he bought at the right price and if they are real , and if boxed/papers etc - then he should be sat on a safe bet.

Bingo.

The only Rolex I own that IS NOT likely to increase in value significantly is the Airking.

You make comments just for me on a Corsa forum? Time is money mate, get back to your stocks and shares.

I don't have any stocks and shares? You should probably focus on getting your facts right before you make comments like that.

P.s. I don't write comments just for you. I just enjoy wording what I do write in a way that I know will bother you.

I really fancy getting a decent watch.
For some reason I can't justify spending that kind of money on a watch yet gladly spent £5k on a numberplate.
