Loking Good G.

And i'd leave the xenons as they are if they're standard, had them on my BM and the colour was perfect.

even with subtle tint, you notice less light with the lights on, when i removed mine i couldn't believe how bright they were

standard temp is 4300k but i think buying bulbs from hids direct or something will be less yellow even if you go for 4300k again, but i went for 5000k and i'm sooo happy with it, it's got a slight tint of blue but its pretty much crystal white. i also got some 100w '6000k' high beam bulbs from ebay, they're illegal on the road but they're so bright and make country lane driving so nice. the high beam bulb and the 5000k xenon's are identical in colour, with both beams on you can't see where the low beam stops and the high beam starts

edit: it might have been the high beam that i saw was yellow, i remember seeing something that was proper yellow and thought that needs to be changed

I am never dealing with HID's Direct again, had a nightmare with them when I had the Fiesta! But yeah I think you must have seen the high beam, as they are still original Halogen bulbs, had high beam HID's on the Fiesta and they were useless as they need to heat up, annoying when you need to flash someone

Thanks mate. I do like em just the contrast against the headlight and making the headling look old that makes it look a bit weird, but it can be sorted

Love this car, yeah why not try some lamin-x on the lights
I've got the lightest tint on my headlights and there is almost no difference in light output.
Would match the sides a lot better though. And its easy as hell with the lights removed.

My new knob I got for Xmas. It's shorter and weighted, and alot cheaper than a quickshift kit

Not too bad a job, that last bit was very time consuming as it's alot thicker and also it's taking the seam sealant up. Not sure how to make it tidier to be honest as it doesn't matter too much if it's not there as paint will seal it but on the edges where I haven't scraped off it looks a bit messy, might look better once I've cleaned all the tar up.

To be honest whilst I couldn't leave it in as it looked crap its left me in a predicament now as I was just going to spray the floor up to the carpet but on the left & right of the boot it might look rubbish with the old faded red where they don't spray it properly in the factory. But to remove all the sat nav/cd changer/radio control unit/battery & pull all cabling back makes the whole thing a much bigger job than intended :-/
