I was under the impression that sausages had to have a specific percentage of meat in them to qualify - that's why the cheap ones are called bangers because they are full of shite. Seeing as haggis is made from pluck and veg, they don't really fit under the official description?
Why am I having an in depth technical discussion over haggis and sausages

isn't it a certain percentage to be called pork sausage, under that percentage they are just sausage, think that's what you were saying anyway don't think it registered in my head.

I found beans and mash to be a Northern 'thing', where as peas and mash is Southern. Either way, got to have some form of 'veg' with it.
GTFO racist.
No beef Mark, no beef. No need to call Arg and the boys!

I'm also keen to try these.
I'm going to write to Scotland now to get an official definition on what makes a sausage and haggis different. BRB.

Aye I kinda thought it was a bit longer than 2 years ago They've been selling them in Lundin Links for ages. I would happily post some to people but I doubt they'd be fresh when they got there
