Sometimes, 10 min, gives me time to get a coffee whilst computer turning on. Recently been arriving almost on time meaning I'm still opening apps when calls are coming in.

I arrive 2 hours early roughly, mostly because its a 3 hour drive but bad traffic etc can make it a 5hour drive very easily.
Do you need to check in like normal folk?
Nope, just drop bag at crew bag drop then go to the report centre.

Crew for BA.
I only go to work once a week at most so the drive is not that bad when you consider some people have to get to work in rush hour etc.

I have appointments so depends when first one is. Sometimes early, sometimes bang on, sometimes late. Depends on traffic too.

Air Steward?
Never would have guessed that. Long haul I presume? I nearly applied years back.

Usually just on time or late, can't remember the last time I got there early enough to get a drink of water, nevermind cuppa tea.

Imagine when your kids got old enough to wonder what you did for a living.
Are you a pilot dad? No, I clean up rubbish in the back.

Really? Are you that narrowminded?
Nothing wrong with being Air Crew. Especially long haul with a good airline.

Usually 5-10mins either way. No clocking in/out so it's not too critical.

To be honest its the easiest job I have ever had. Take a 7 hour flight, we work for about 4 hours and the other 3 are split between the crew, half on rest for 1.5 hours (in the bunks generally) and half on duty, then you switch. 24 hours in New York hitting the shops etc saving a fair wedge of money on clothes, electrical things etc then off you come home.
When I joined the airline i was on check in, they closed the base and i took redeployment. Get paid a very good wage and work very little in all honesty so its win win.
