The wheels are 16s.

Might look into a filter, does feel like it could do with a wee bit grunt tbh, it feels quite life-less.

Wheel refurb completeded......Bit darker than i wanted but never mind....

Next up is get the alignment done as its chewing the front tyres at a silly rate. Also thinking about carbon wrapping the B pillars for a subtle touch. Done it on my Mk4 Astra and it looked no bad so will try it on this.

Hmm still undecided on colouring the badges. Going by the 1 posted on page 2, it kinda hides it and makes the cutout on the bonnet stand out too much.

Update time.....

Was getting bored of the look of the car, and was actually in 2 minds wether to sell or not. But i love it too much to let it go so was time for a wee change. Easiest being the wheels. So was all set to sell the BBS (had a keen potential buyer but sadly had to let them down) and get something else. Picked up a set of G60 steels yesterday, was ready to go for tyres for them, then got a txt offering a swap for the new wheels. Couldn't find any pics of said wheels on a GTi so would have been a hit or miss as to what they would look like. Got through, done the swap, and imo they look pretty good. Wee change and might not be to every1s taste

Enough gibberish and let the pics do the talking....

Rota Slips, 7J x 16, ET40 195 45 16 tyres. Had to give it a wee bit camber on the front to cure the scrubbage.
