Some really nice looking set ups in here. I need to make more of an effort to hide all the wires for all my stuff. Might ditch my glass stand and get a proper tv cabinet

That orange is a bit bright but a nice setup Although how come you've positioned the speakers so high?

LeeM - in the pic you can see our 2nd sofa. We have another one that sits square infront of the tv.

did it myself apart from plastering, which kerry's cousin did, can highly recommend his work, sheffield based.
Dom - yeah it is a bit, but works really well in the room in the flesh, everyone who sees it loves it.. to my face anyway
They aren't that high are they sounds fine, not bad for a first attempt, but if i did it again i would get some built in speakers either side of the TV

Wouldn't have minded as i wanted to check out some of Chords gear, but it clashes with plans for that weekend.
You guys showing anything new this year? Any plans to knock out a video/HDMI switching AV decoder?

This thread really is a great example of how badly camera phones perform in low light situations.
Anyway, here's my grainy, unsharp image.
Samsung 59" 7000 plasma
Denon 2310 receiver
Complete Tangent EVO 5.1 speaker set
Sony BDP-470 blu ray
Apple TV
Ceramic White PS3 (fat)
80's Technics turntable (hidden)
Undecided if I should wallmount the TV. I've fitted dimmable LEDs to the back of the screen, which really works wonders for the contrast, in an otherwise completely dark room. Don't think these would work as well with the screen close to the wall.
On the other hand, I really hate the current location of the centre speaker and hanging the TV would help make it less crowded. Suggestions?

Could you not move the PS3 and Sony BD, perhaps into one of the cupboards, and replace them with the centre? It'd probably still be a little bit low but would save having to pee around mounting the TV.

It does look out of place... Especially after seing it photographed, I can't stop thinking messy it looks...
I have a wall bracket for the speaker, but I think it would look even worse over the TV as it's fairly deep.
White PS3 is fantastic. Very happy with it. Never got why they didn't release it worldwide, as I'm pretty sure it would have been incredibly popular. I always tell myself it's worth a fortune as they're quite rare now.

Wouldn't dare run the PS3 from one of the cupboards. It gets alarmingly hot as it is, compared to my old setup where it stood on an open shelf.
Also, I think it's too pretty to hide away...

4+ years old, used and abused and never missed a beat. As far as I'm concerned, YLOD is a myth.
Why would I replace it? Slim is hardly any smaller...
