He's the kinda bloke that would come home after Southend/cruise and go and wash and polish it at 1-2am in the morning. Yes we took the p1ss out of him too Im glad to see it got a re-birth. Have you got any more pictures so I can send him them (worst state to its rebuilt state?). Would appreciate it I see the Holden badges too

He had the car for a number of years, then sold it on. When I used to work in the city, I would regulary see if driving along, and each time it looked worse and worse, skirts hanging etc. Poor car

I bought if for £700 nearly five years ago in Belvedere Kent from some young lad..

All my pictures of it are here http://public.fotki.com/ajp/mattb_calibra_turbo/ebay-corsa/

I should add when i sold it it had the MINTEST calibra leathers in it i have seen (out of my old calibra) wired in for the heating with the proper vaux surround for the switches etc

P.S its a thundercats badge!!

Yeah thats our area, ish... Young lad bought it off him. Ruined the poor thing

Did it still have the 2.0 16v brakes on it (EBC drilled n grooved disks). I re-conditioned the brakes, put the brakes on my corsa, then a set ov V6's came up for sale cheap, so I took them off and put the V6's on. I sold them to Craig at a loss.

Ended up that his 2.0 brakes worked btter and more responsive than my V6's did. Bugger

That car ran on its bumpstops, suspension was rock hard. So hard when you were going down the M25 in it, you would bounce out of your seat and hit your head on the roof lining and higher speeds Still, that car rocked!!!

He made a rear disk conversion, it slightly crabbed after that Worked ok though and still braked straight and true.

Combat kit, and look at the fit on those bumper lines

He did change the plate eventually

With a certain forum owners corsa This was Trax 2001 I "think". CS first Trax stand. Bloody good turnout, something like 40+ cars.

Funny enough, it made 111bp @ Northampton Motorsport in 2001. I reckon it will have lost a few from the young lads raggings though.

It was 2002 I was at Donny then.

I was at Trax in 2001 with CS too, the original Lexus lights had just been released, people were buying them on the day, probably from PVD. England beat Germany 5-1 on the Saturday night too.

How strange, when I saw your car at that rolling road day at Torque of the Devil I recognised the reg but as Craig always had the italics I didn't put two and two together.

Me, Daimo & Craig used to be at all the cruises together weird

They were awful, I remember Leni's b/f (Rob?) buying some and fitting them on the day, didn't have the heart to tell him how bad they looked!

Mine was the star silver one,V767GCW, top of page2 of this thread.

Wont have been the same one I dont think? It was sold to the owner Matt bought it from by then, and he wasn't on any corsa forums or anything.

Possible though, but doubtfull. Also was from Kent. Only a couple of us were mad enough to drive around the country for corsa meets

Mattant - speedlines were the norm back in the 90s, they have never left the scene lol
