Think the wheels work, but other that that imho you wasted £50 on 2 pointless mods.
but having said that... your car, your money, your choice

I like the wheels alot. Wanted some for my A3.
Like the little touches like oil cap etc, and I like the idea of putting a gearknob from a higher spec car on as it can make gear changes so much nicer from such a little thing. Think how many times you use the gearknob every time you drive? Personally I don't like the B on the knob but otherwise I'm with you and understand what you've done!

Well the wasted money comment I know I could probably sell both items for double the money I paid for them, they came up cheap so snapped them up.
My exact thoughts on the gearknob, you touch them hundred of times every journey so why not have something nicer to look at and nicer to touch.
It may be a dub scene thing slightly over the gearknob as a lot of people put bentley wheels and other items on there cars. Another little touch is the bentley leather grab handles, some of the little things make the biggest differences.

I bought a shiny blue one for my old zetec-s. I still have my old clear rear lights all boxed up. I must sell them!

It's not swapping the gearknob, it's swapping it for one that's massive and doesn't suit the car.
