Yes that's what I'm meaning, forcing the issue never works. So dating websites aren't for me cos that's essentially what is happening.

I'm not particularly saying everyone that uses one is desperate, one of my mates is getting married to someone he met through a dating site but for me to be using one I would have to of got to the desperate stage.

TBF - i went on it when i was desperate

I Found the majority to be wierd/dole dossing scum who dont have bath and load of kids. I remember adding one of facebook and we had a proper slanging match - no just looks i mean hygenic levels aswell (looking at her greasy hair/black teeth and state of the house). She told me i was a minger after looking at more photos, to which i said ' Im no brad pitt, but at least I know how to wash' . I then got a 'Gtz fkd Iz f9, meh brzs wil fk u up!' sort of replys.

That was enough to put me off.


When i did see a fit one, i was paranoid about it being fake and thinking it would be a middle aged saddo luring young people into traps

Some people don't come across females in their normal life, builders, shift workers etc. Yeah you might go out and see then but what if you re absolute gash at approaching women cold, I can't say it's my strength which is why i'm glad I have a missus.

How is it forcing? It's single people looking for a different way to meet people. In my situation 99% of my peer group is at uni and I wanted to meet someone who wasn't and wasn't twice my age. Working in IT as well you get to meet loads of girls... oh wait

Worked out quite nicely.

Never been on a dating site, never had a need to.

If worst comes to worse and im 30 and not with anybody i'll sign up to them so I can create a fast track family. Untill then, i'm happy.
