To be fair I've only ever done it to move my car. It feels weird and I don't like it

I drove from Weston super mare home with bare feet, mainly because the sand in my trainers was doing my tit in

It's a bit uncomfortable but I can't see how it could be classed as dangerous unless you've got some sort of deformed claw toe that'll get hooked round the pedal.

I'd certainly rather drive barefoot than in my work boots for example.

When I wear flip flops in the summer I'll drive barefoot all the time, flip flops get chucked under the seat and I drive with my big toes haha

Don't talk bollocks, nothing wrong with it.

I normally take my shoes off on long journeys.

Blip on the downshifts with the little toe as well, saves having to twist the heel.

My Aunt can't drive with shoes on atall.

She's been driving for near 30 years, and even passed her test and did her lessons Bare-foot.

But still, Internet John says it's stupid, so I shall imminently inform her of this.

I cant drive barefoot for some reason because it hurts my feet. but i like thin shoes so i can feel the pedal. etnies etc are bad for pedal feel.

when its wet i have a towel under my seat so i can dry my soles aswel, nowt worse than slipping off the pedals!

on another subject....anyone got cramp in there right foot so needed to break with the left foot?.......fuck i nearly put myself through my screen!

The only thing I can't drive in is flip flops. They get wedged between the pedal and the floor

i normally drive bare footed, when you have size 14 feet it helps to not push different pedals at the same time

I drove 4000 miles round Oz without wearing footwear once, at no point did I not feel in total control, in the city or in the outback.

Pmsl at John arguing for no reason when he has no valid point but carries on anyway. Amusing.
