What is the problem with telling the rest of the internet that you're not available?
Surely it's no one else's business apart from your own? And to be honest, who really gives a fuck? I'm sure people have better things to do that worry about who's dating who

Id say just go for it and request it, will be a good test of wether shes worth sticking around for anyway.
if she gets gamesy about it, then youve saved yourself a load of hassle and only had it piss you off in the short term

There is nothing wrong with it, but it saves changing it back to single everytime they have an argument and have to make a point by making themselfs single on facebook again.

Well it saves the awkwardness of not knowing whether your taken or not and on the other hand not advertising yourself as single.

Internet wierdos, you have to see a status update on facebook before you know if you're in a relationship?

I get it, You are wondering why someone isnt changing their status to 'in a relationship' when they clearly are, thus leaving everyone think they are still fancy free?

Good conversation is not about your facebook relationship status.

Blimey. Never thought about this tbh. But, when my last relationship ended I just removed my status entirely so nobody came back with, 'mate hope youre, here if you need to chat'
