Thats fair enough, just a few people Ive spoke to say 40mpg was quite common with the CDTi, which aint that good when comparing to the other diesels out there.

That's what I got with my fabia. The 110 non pd is better on fuel but the 130 pd isn't any better. 130 is a good engine though.

Can't afford the 888 version they go more than I want to spend, there's 1 that's been sent to 888 to have mods and is running 215bhp

Im averaging 46mpg over 30 thousand miles. Which includes all types of driving, motorway, town and track days.

Nope, have you been to vaux recently? They have dropped the price of the inlet to around £300 now

Buy from fiat and there the same price too

You can get them direct from pierberg "SP"? for around £300 too

Change your 888 map for the new EDS map with EGR delete and forget about EGR and swirlflap problems for ever...

What sort of price would a clutch and flywheel be?

we pay roughly £300 for clutch and dual mass fly on the 1.9
