Sometimes it's a bit of both though, but they usually say (or it's obvious) when it's not them, e.g. Kobayashi. I think that Hamilton runs/posts on his own FB page.

Had Rio Ferdinand reply to a tweet. Give joey Barton so much shit on Twitter surprised he hasn't responded.
Rob Austin also follows me along with a lot of other touring car drivers/teams/grouops I think that's the 'in' thing for their 'scene'
