Are you sure?

I always install CCCP when I setup a system.

Never been able to play most of my files by default.

I've actually been leaving it on standby more. Went 2 weeks before I remembered and restarted, it wasn't noticeable at all.

Use an up-to-date version of Parallels, otherwise try Virtualbox. Failing that, be a man and dual boot.

I always shut down my work one, far too much going on to leave it on all the time. Home one just sitting ready for me to jump on the Internet I've been leaving on. Always turned off previously.

Will be, you need to install the virtualbox extensions/drivers. I recommend that you go RTFM as it's all fairly straight forward.

As for laptop, the Dell is always on standby; gets rebooted about once a month if it's lucky

Its deffo more aimed towards casual users, people who generally only wanna view the internet and look at their family photos.

For the rest of us, all the menus and settings have been hidden away. A right shambles of a layout
