If I'm in the front of my car yes. In the back no as it doesn't legally need rear belts

That's nice for the person in the front seat.

Exactly, the forces involved in even a low speed crash are huge. It hurts quite a bit if you bang your head against a low beam at walking pace let alone a piece of metal at 30mph.

I'm normally pretty good with it but just recently I've found myself at the end of a journey without having put it on at all.

Always wear one. Only when I had an xe I went through a phase of not wearing one as harnesses pissed me off too much, got caught, didn't pay fine, moved house, caught up with me and owed over £700. Learnt the hard way.
It's habit and you're an idiot if you don't wear one.

i think the comment in the back is due to a classic car?
for example my mini doesnt have any in the back where never factory fitted, this combined with the rear cage means its rare that anyone is in the back

Always wear it when I'm driving, like has been said before Ifeel naked without it.
I find myself not wearing it sometimes when I'm a passenger though, not on purpose I just seem to forget. Especially when I was on holiday, I hardly wore one out there, again I don't know why, just got use to jumping in a taxi and not putting it on.

I am getting back into it. I never used to wear it when I had new company cars. I even got used to the beeper and didn't hear it.
I tried to have it as a new years resolution to wear it but couldn't do it.
Since I bought my shitbox Honda I wear it about half the time. I'm getting better I suppose.
My best mate survived a horrendous car crash because he wasn't wearing a belt.

I see theres key's on ebay now that you put into the seat belt clip to fasten it and make it think theres a belt plugged in to save it beeping. Only time it could be handy really is for if you were carrying stuff in the car on the seats or for a dog.

Only time I don't is when i'm manouvering, or reversing.
Some reason I never wear one in a taxi.
Was told by a driving examiner that taxi drivers are not legally required to wear one whilst they have a customer in the car for safety reasons (Mainly the rear passenger can pin them to the seat with the seatbelt and potentially harm them) But as soon as the customer leaves the vehicle they must wear one!
