I'm pretty sure the CDX covers only fit on the pre-97 bumpers as that's what they came off in the first place.
Love you car by the way, always wanted an SRI

keep the rear pre 97 and stick a CDX cover on it, then a post 97 front

Little update
The mot just ran out and it needs so bits done on it so put new disc and pads on because it had a nasty vibration when braking from warped disc
But I snapped a slidder pin/bolt on the caliper but all fixed now
Old version new
Just needs 2 tyres and I'll put it in for its mot

after being left for a couple of months with no tax or mot i thought i'd better get it back on the road be for it rots

Can't be many of these left on the road.
Looks clean but I would revert it back to standard and lose the colour coded bits

Yeah not seen another one for years
And it came with the bumpers when I got was told the oldish women that had it before me asked to have it coloured coded from new with pas and airbag too but don't know if there's any truth in that and don't think it's the original reg as vauxhall can never find it on the computer's

A few days after the mot the gear linkage popped out on some traffic lights lucky enough it was in 3rd still and I managed to get it home like this
I looked at new linkages but they were £130+ so I bought a rebuilt kit for £12 and set about fitting it
Took the battery out and undone coolant bottle
Still not much room but got it out and the bushes didn't look good and would explain the sloppy gearstick
Old version new
Now all reconditioned
Just need to refit it to the car and set it up tomorrow
