Looks great fun
This "fly back to base" thing it has, how would that work in a built up area, for instance, if you've flown over/around trees/buildings and stuff? Does it return "as the crow flies" or does it remember its path, otherwise you could end up with it stuck in a tree or smashing into the side of someones house

Done another longer vid this time.
Quality still isnt as good as it would be if i plugged a usb stick into it rather than streaming and recording the vid to my phone.
Didnt fly it quite as high this time and i reduced some of the max angle and speed as the wind has got up a bit and it makes it a bit unstable.
Again nothing exciting but shows a demo of the downwards facing cam in some parts, demonstrates how it can flip 360 degrees in the air, demonstrates my missus, demonstrates me, and a crash landing at the end when the wind took it into a tree

got a better one uploading now of the dog playing with it lol

It would be cool if you could get it to follow you in the car, could superimpose and aerial view.

hovers on its own until back in range, or if low battery lands itself
The autonomous stuff does return to base, follow me, and fly via way points.
Also doing some mods to it, already ordered some proper bearings for the rotor shafts to replace the brass stock units, and a longer lasting battery too. Contemplating getting an adapter so you can control it with an Xbox controller
Not sure wether to use a wifi extender or go proper RC in the future, both similar ranges, advantage of wifi is that you can still stream to the first person vid to your phone, disadvantage is you need some power sourse to power it
