not a beard, its a Moustache and some people are sponsored to go for the month of Novemember without shaving to raise awareness and donations towards Prostrate Cancer.

In our local pub, we just have to have a moustache on the last day, its a £1 to get in the pub and 5p from every pint of ale sold goes into the pot. We raised a few hundred pounds last year.

Its similar to the bullshit that women do on FB with the 11" and 1 hour stuff but you get to grow a man 'tasch and raise actual money

My team raised about £700 last year.

Its also about raising awareness of male prostate cancer, folk ask why you have a tash so you can then explain that it is in aid of. Him on end looks more like Pique than fabregas. I did it last year and even went to a job interview with an attempt at a handle bar tash. Obviously as soon as I walked in I said excuse the moustache and explained the reason behind it and I didnt normally look like a paedo

Okay, I'm looking at doing this, but the Movember site doesn't state if the donations are going 100% to charity or if they are skimming something off the top.

I have no interest in supporting them, if they take a huge chunk of the money for personal gain and I do find it peculiar that this data is not easily available through their site.

I'm going to play with a handicap and enter this with a bit of pre-grown stash.

Will have nothing but stubble after only a month.

Will be sad to see the goatee shaved off, though. Been nursing this bad boy for two months and actually starting to be visible from beyond 3 metres.
