Audi's have similar class, but with the exception of the Rs4 all are pretty much flawed.

The BMW has the finesse and balance/steering that you can get in that peice bracket for saloon types. No doubt Evo's are weapons but it's a bit of a one trick pony. Fast car, turbo charged small engine. All the grip known to man and could out perform most things.

However it's not refined, as comfy as the ///M (I'm not bating, it just is) it can be happy on a track or happy on the Maay or happy round town, it's not abnoxious or in your face it's not boomy and bangs. Out of the box, it is a very capable all rounder hence it continuingly being class leader and desirable.

That's not to say all other cars are crap or I only love BMW M3's as if I had the money to buy another I wouldn't, but I'm also not trying to do the whole underdog thing either.

Horses for courses and all that.

Yes all cars have there problems. However the common problems the M3s have are pretty major and require major £££ to fix. That was the main reason I didn't buy one in the end.
