Nice Astra, shame about the ditch finders. I think my Astra had about 30k on it, when I sold it years ago. I know what you mean about the image, my missus loved the look of the GSI, but hates Impreza's and Evo's.

How you are all comparing image between an old
vauxhall Astra hatchback and a Subaru is beyond me.

I'm afraid you miss the point, I totally understand the "image" thing with Subaru's. However selling it for a go faster shipping trolley with a big wing on the back makes no sense to me!

330d would've been a far more sensible move to lose the boy racer image

To change the car because the exhaust makes it a bit loud is daft

Astra is probably a better and far more reliable car anyway. Them imprezas are known for breaking in expensive ways. Wise move.

The Astra looks nice and clean but you honestly sold a Subaru Impreza for an Astra?

Each to their own I guess.....

Both similar priced cars IMO! I see more subaru's than astra gsi's around but can see your point of a sports version of an astra compared to a subaru but i think they are more on par than people see! Just my opinion

it is funny reading the comments on here, what makes me laugh is the "image" they apparently have.

the subaru community is by far the best i have been on, MUCH more mature community, MUCH more helpful and much more respectful to eachother, something which the corsa community and this site do not have
