looks nice
That's the one I was looking at as it's only round the corner That colour and red are by far the best!
John I known what you mean but when splashing out £7-8k on a car its's nice to have a bit of piece of mind.

Thats true.
But then again, it will always be in the back of your mind, knowing how bad the gearboxes are, just waiting for it to fuk up.
It would be daft to think that any1 who knows about the M32 issue, could just ignore it.

Was a fucking nightmare to sell on aswell, lost a fortune on it!

Do they all have the m32 fitted then? There's not a lot you can do though if it hasn't already been fixed apart from hope it doesn't happen to you.
I'm on the hunt for the silvery blue colour what ever that one is quite like that grey one, don't want one with any more then 40k on either. I know even 60k isn't a lot on these as people keep saying but I'd just prefer a sub 40k mileage example.
Found one with 33k on in the colour I wanted with colour coded chrome and had been lowered on the eibach set up I wont by Thorney & I walked away :-( :-( :-(

Had a 1.9 cdti for a year and a Vxr for 3 years both of them remapped and never had any gearbox issues at all so it's not all horror stories

Is it the same gear box then in all of them? Did the map make a big difference on the CDTI one things on the top of my list when I find one

Yeah both m32's
It was actually a tunning box that was on the cdti and took it from 120 to 170 but was horrible to drive with it on and I would never fit one to another car or recommend them to anyone

I would never use thorney again after having their map on my Vxr and the complete lack of aftercare when it was found to be running dangerously lean then tried blaming everything other than the map

Each to there own I guess, the price for this compared to the standard grey one is incomparable as this only had 34k on it compared to 60+ on the grey one. Although some people would be happier buying from vauxhall which is understandable, the silvery blue with colour codes chrome is perfect to me

Quite a big difference yes, a very noticeable increase in power and the mpg certainly didn't get any worse.

Had my CDTi 150 with Green DTUK box on from 23k to 80k still running fine. I think the box is decent, makes a very noticable difference in performance, as for mpg not so much.

Did they do a facelift model on these if so any one know what year and what was changed?
Found one so fingers crossed I'll have one soon, black not the silver lightning I was ideally after but black does look good, just a badger to keep clean

Ok just a quick one, I've found one I'm going to go for but before I do I was just thinking what else is out there in the price range I'm looking at
So £7/8k want some think good on fuel so a diesel of some sort preferably a 3 door unless it doesn't come in one. Sporty looks and fairly quick, no more then 45k on the clock and no older then say 57 plate
Any ideas?
