Never been Egypt but sounds boring, infact isn't it the place where boring people go when they can't work out where they want to go?
£200 per person including flights, sit in some resort all day eating monkey food and sucking up some skin cancer. Sounds great. 
I'd like to go, but go see some pyramids and ride goats everywhere.

I've leave the country on a regular basis... And I have an opinion about that collection of third world countries. Most miserable holiday I've ever had was in Turkey, was a dirty horrible shit hole of a place that you had to fend the dirty greasy scavengers off on every 3rd step you took. You have to watch what you eat, check for ice in your glass.
I have no problem with heat but give me Italy or Croatia (or a nice cruise) any day. But I'm sorry for having an opninion.

as long as you aren't staying in an absolute shithole, you'll be fine.
we done the 'swim with dolphins', 'quadbiking in the desert' and 'arabian nights' excursions and they were all great.
the dolphins was rather strange as it was just in a big pool, but it was better than when i swam with them in discovery cove, florida.
oh and you also need to be firm with the shopkeepers when walking through the town. they get annoying after a while. after a week me and the missus were very tanned and we both have black hair so pretended we didn't understand english. quite a few of them then started asking if we were italian  one way of dealing with them i suppose.

Been to various places in Turkey 7 times and would go back again tomorrow, I've got dark hair / tanned skin though so don't get all the tourist constant pestering. Even got stopped at airport wouldn't let me through the door as thought so was a Turk trying to escape.
Egypt been once and will never go back!
Which part of Turkey did you go too, and did you book the cheapest hotel in middle of no where?!

Had the most amazing time ever, this was by far the best hotel ive stayed in in Egypt, really enjoyed it. Great food, great weather, great everything.

I went quad biking through the The Sinai mountains and was taught about Sinai people. I also ate traditional Egyptian food and smoked shisha.
