Saints vs Leeds is always a lively one. It was better when James Graham was in the Saints team though, because he (like everyone tbh) hates Ryan Bailey.

Quite a lot of the GB squad wore Uggs around the hotel. We had the squad in the hotel when they played tests v NZ I think or some Tri-Nations thing a few years back.

Yep. I found rugby players from both codes really down to earth, normal people. Footballers I dealt with, 80% were up their own arse.

I bumped into Feka Paleaaesina with the rest of the Salford squad while I was on my stag do. He was a bit of a hero of mine when he was at Wigan so we asked him for a photo and had a quick chat. 5 minutes later he brings a beer over and sits with us to watch the Wigan-Saints challenge cup match! Legend!

10 minute man paleaaesina. you'd never get that with a standard squad premiership footballer.

Feka was an ace guy, a bit gutted when we let him go.
Hoping we beat Cas today but it always seems to be a struggle when we go there.
Was suprised at the Widnes/Hull score last night too.

A lot of fans didn't like him because he only put in short stints and his fitness was a bit questionable which obviously didn't really fit with Maguires ethos. When he was on the pitch he was great to watch though, when he used to pick up the ball from a tap and set off at full pelt you could see it lift the whole team. He still loves Wigan too.

It did used to get on my nerves, he was a crowd pleaser though. Having saying that, at the beginning of 2010 he looked good and not far off his NZ Warriors days, but I don't think he had the extra bit in him that Madge wanted.
I remember this at HKR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gS849qN354U
Crash bang wallop try... makes me miss Yorkshire away days!

Salford manager sacked. My money is on Justin Morgan to return to Super League from the NRL, and because Salford are loaded, i bet he brings in Michael Dobson from HKR.
You heard it here first

Well my predictions were slightly off
Great round of results for us though, can't believe Bradford hammered Hudds.
