He's good no doubt, but if he goes to RM he'll end up like Owen/Woodgate etc.

Ronaldo is/was streets ahead. He could score with his feet and head which is the reason I rate him over Messi.

Granted, Ronaldo can't eat bananas with his feet tho.

Okay. Not as prolific as Ronaldo with his head. Messi aint getting on the end of crosses is he? Ronaldo used to regularly in PL.

If Messi comes and does it in PL, then i may be persuaded. but he won't. He'll stay in the comfort zone of La Liga.

Btw, don't take my comments as me thinking Messi isn't an incredible player!

Barca dont really play a game that allows him to score many with his head.

I read a stat on Sat evening that Ronaldo has scored 21 career hat tricks, 20 of those for Real

Ronaldo has definitely got even better than when he was at United. But 20 hat tricks in less than 4 seasons in La Liga says a lot about the level of the league over there outside of Real & Barca. Even I don't think he'd be able to do that if he was playing here for us again.

Gareth Bale, is a very good player, but I think hes a tad overrated.

Hes good at knocking the ball past people and beating them with his pace, plenty of players like that though, hes just hit a goal scoring period recently so people are pulling their foreskins back

Bale is epic, was it West Brom the other week he played against? Was literally Bale on his own, showed the quality of people doubting him then imo. Granted west brom aren't a top 4 team but still a PL side, he would fit in in Barca or Madrid imo.

Yeah Nani or Young. Nani's better on the right but Valencia is there. Young's ok on the left but always injured. And Giggs occasionally.

We haven't had a decent guaranteed starter left winger since Giggs was in his prime.

No doubting that Bale would improve us down the left wing. But he's going to cost silly money now

We rely on Evra on the overlap down the left to whip the crosses in. Which seems to work but a dedicated left winger would be better

Im sure thats why hes bought zaha, though he can play either side
