A lot more expensive than admiral on my fiesta. Though were considerably cheaper than Keith Michaels, Sky, Flux and Brentacre

I had this before too. The joys of BL3.
Funny how when I lived in Coventry and actually did have people trying to nick my Corsa, the insurance was cheaper

They were alot cheaper than admiral for me, and that was with 2 cars already on an admiral multi car and adding a 3rd. Main difference was Greenlight were mirroring my NCB, admiral only let you use it on one car

Very helpful and easy to talk to on the phone and seem to know what they're on about...however they said they'd call me back 'in 5 minutes' and alas, there was no call. Hate it when companies do that.

Was on the phone to them the other day. They said because this was the 1st 3.0 i'd owned they wouldn't be able to offer me a competitive price until i'd had it for a year.
Mate of mine bought a VXR8 recently and they were very wary of insuring him because it was his 1st RWD even though he's over 30!
Seem very good if you do have previous experience in a sports/performance car.

Have you definatley cleared that up with them? I was with them 5 months and I got a letter out the blue saying I owed them another £400 odd pound, rang up and they said Id used my No Claims on both cars and I said yeah I cleared this up on the call, they told me they'd listen to the conversation and said I hadnt made it clear enough when I know for a fact I did, and gave me the option to cancel or pay the extra.

I asked them to mirror them when I got a second car to add on, it couldn't have been any clearer. Same with my dad. There was no ambiguity on the call. My dad's has been renewed since then but mine isn't a full year until november.

Thats a fair point lol. They asked me on the phone and I gave them an honest answer. Not sure if they would be able to check with previous insurers etc

Don't bother, they won't touch 95% of Liv post codes I had the same last week even though I wass assured by one of their staff on a forum, they could sort something out. Got a great renewal from my current insurer so ended up staying with them.

Did a quote with them online and just had a call, these guys know about modified cars and were really helpful.
My renewal came from flux for £524 TPFT and they have just quoted me £399 fully comp, with all the extras inc windscreen etc...
All mods covered and I don't even have to call them to declare further mods as long as I don't go over 180bhp which from an x16xe is a bit of an ask lol.
Couldn't rate them highly enough.

Flux messed me around royally. They offered me cheapest quote for my second year of CTR ownership, I spoke to a guy there for ages on the phone explaining it was for sale and I was looking for an STI Impreza to buy. He said yeah we'll insure that no worries, bit more expensive than the CTR but we'll cover it.
I sold the Civic, rang Flux to tell them to switch it to a Scooby that friday (I was off to pick it up) and they said "Sorry, we don't insure Impreza's or Evo's..." I then had to pay a £40 admin fee to finish my policy.
I ended up with a Subaru specialist, at a really good price - though I read about Greenlight afterwards and heard good things about them.

I had a similar problem going from a corsa to a mini s got and said no sorry we can't insure you dispite promising me they could. All sales talk really!!
I had this too when I got my Corsa C. Rang them up for a quote to change it from my B and they gave me a price and said no problem, so went to buy the car and then they said they wouldn't change it, even though there was just 6 weeks left on the policy. Changed to Admiral after that and haven't had a better quote anywhere else since.

Well i spoke to them today as i've got my renewal on the DC5 in 2 weeks and they have smashed Brentacre's price.
Brentacre wanted £750 and then another £80 odd if i wanted protected no claims.
Greenlight have just quoted me £560 including protected NCB, windscreen and euro cover. Don't think Brentacre will match that but i'll be ringing them Friday, and it could be the end of 4years of cover with them.
