I could quite easily dismantle it and make quite a wedge to buy something else.

i just fear if i buy something else i like for around £5k i would be finding myself replacing all the sort of bits i've already done on the corrado.

Its only the engine giving me grief, most of the rest of the cars mechanicals are lower mileage than majority of CS cars.

Got one.

Its another 2.9 12v and has the schimmel 263 cams and a head rebuild. Although I plan to build another engine and use this as a temporary one.

Surprised how easy this mechanics lark is. Starting to find I turn my nose up at most garages and mechanics now and feel they bullshit everyone.

We have a 20v turbo Corrado track car in at the minute getting all the wiring done, I actually really like it. Looks really evil.

How much have you spent on this car please? I'd like to make a spreadsheet showing that you'd have lost less in depreciation on a new BMW than you've spent on this that you'll never get back. Include the escort you had to buy as this wasn't in use for a year.

Should stick a v5 in there haha

Glad you don't give up on it, my cousins friend has a few corrados. One of which he's doing a diesel conversion on it so it can be his daily commuter

I know what you mean Jimbob. It looks great in the flesh though the wheels suit it. But at that angle they look a bit non descript

Looks clean that. I fancy building one from a bare shell with modern wiring and electrics

I'm going to be driving it around and having to remind myself i'm in a mild race/road car. Will have cams, BMC, Magnex, twin electrode spark plugs and samco water hoses

Almost enough to type a spec
