I just ignore all of the bearing stuff on the forums. It could happen but I'll take my chances.

Fast & Fun, Suitable for everyday use, Won't break, £4.5k to buy.

She has to admit that you want fast and fun you need to be prepared to fork out for fast and fun part prices, and of course, fast and fun parts wear out quicker and usually harder to fit/involve more labour.

I would just accept she should get something middle of the road similar to everyone else, like a fiesta or a clio and just live in denial overtaking people who aren't actually trying.

They've become really cheap recently. Might have a look at one, always liked them.

3.0i engine in mine is near enough bomb proof. parts aren't too expensive and it's very fun without boy racer looks.

Why can't you find a Mini Cooper S for £4.5k?

My 05 plate with 64k miles, and the majority of extras cost me just over £5k last July.

Stick a 15% Reduced Pulley on and they're a hell of a lot of fun!
