That looks ace, makes the dash look a lot more modern. No way I'd have the balls to do that, I'd properly mess it up!

I was worried about messing it up, but have done similar things before.
Planning to do my mates 182, then if that comes out as good and is as easy, will start offering my services.

LEDs look fantastic, most of the DIY led jobs look really nasty and chavvy but that looks very nice indeed! Professional

64bhp must feel very sluggish , is there no relatively easy mods for these to liven them up? Dash looks gtreat, very modern looking

64?! How dare you. 67.4 thank you! Lol!
Only three things to do, exhaust, intercooler and remap. All of which are planned, but no simple easy cheap mods no. I want to get the rest of it perfect before engine stuff!
Tbh, it does me fine, mpg is great.

What a transformation - looks top! What was the aim of changing the subframe?
Also - where is your oil pressure light

The 172/182's have a wider front track than standard Clios, so with him fitting the wider front arches it fills them out better

Cheers guys, Might have an update tomorrow, Have been too busy recently, so this has been neglected and is dirty as sin!
Pow - As Simon said, wider track, the subframes are the same, but it was easiest to swap the subframe too, plus gave me chance to paint it etc. Mine also has 25mm front spacers so the wheels fit flush.
Oil pressure light is the stop light IIRC, Modern car!

Do you have any issues with rubbing with the spacers on? Also what size tyres are you running?

I have some slight rubbing on the passenger side bumper bracket/arch liner, I just need to find time to get the wheel off and twat the bracket/grind it. I have 195/45/16 S-drives.
Little pointless update, Borrowed some Xenon headlights, wanted to see how much better they are, its like daylight at night with these!
Secondly, I fitted my mates Speedline Turini's, to see how my car would look with them as I'm considering some next. Excuse the side trim, its in the post!
205/45 tyres as fitted to those Turini's rub like buggery though!
Thats about it for this weekend, I've been far too busy detailing this...

Given my car some loving, now have a full set of side strips (2.0 Badges will be removed, painting DCi badges silver )
But more importantly... Cup spoiler....
Now all I need is Xenons, colour coded handles are in the post.
See you all at Trax!

Cheers guys.
I sorta like the Turini's, make it look a lot harder, more like a track car my mate said. I'd deffo have them in Grey, however, I think the 172 wheels refurbed in either silver or grey would look great.
Colour coded handles turned up yesterday, fitted already.
All that's left before trax now is a bloody good clean and DCi badges!

Not tried 182 wheels? Think the cup coloured ones would look pretty good against your colour

I'm not a fan of 182 wheels at all Simon.
I'm mostly agreeing with you Shaun, however I like my car looking like a sorta standard 172, but I want it to stand out at the same time!
