This. I like to feel like I am flying a 747 when I want to nip to the shops to grab some cola.

Every one of the previous generations round here went to drug dealers who needed to be able to get through their deliveries quick without being noticed.
Never once seen a fast Golf with an old guy at the wheel.

Also re dash design, not sure if Astra J has it but the Cascada does, little glow coming from under the gear stick surround.
Entire dash is faffy and difficult to operate. Not lived with one but I've a feeling it would annoy me.
And the sat nav screen is obscured by the plastic surround unless you're 8ft tall.

R32's definitely drug dealers cars, never seen anyone other than that driving it. Not seen so many R's though.
VW won't be targeting drug dealers though (i think).

It won't be 50k,
it won't even be 40k.
Audi S3's are around the £32k mark, and the golf was usually cheaper.
