I had an E-Klasse as a courtesy car from insurance (like for like replacement on a Boxster obviously). Sack of shit it was.

They do rot like fuck don't they John.

I was changing a rack on a silver estate one a few years ago. It looked relatively clean at first glance, until I got it up in the air.

All four arches were going, as were the sills and the doors. Plus there was a hole the size of my fist in the luggage compartment floor.

The mid-late 90s Cs and Es were disgraceful, Merc were actually giving people new doors on warranty the rust was so bad
