Folk in their 30's should be worrying about comfort and space for their kids, not the fact the horn pops off easily on their Corsa B which makes it easier to stash a bag of grass, a grinder and a pack of skins.

Not sure if you've gone into troll overdrive or you've actually lost it.

I wouldn't call the corsa B thing a scene tbh
Its just by chance people end up with a car like a corsa when they are young, i could of quite easily been a pest on a fiestasport forum if i had gotten a fiesta (hardly any difference in those cars, both bottom of the rung and some of the most basic cars you can get)
There isn't a scene dying out here, its just the fact the corsa B has been superceeded, young people i know these days wouldn't hanker after a corsa C, let alone a B.
Its weird the people that buy a 2nd car to their corsa, like owning a tent instead of a house and buying a caravan to live in while you patch up the tent.

Never was a scene. Will be the same in another 15 years time or so but with a different car.
Will be a different car, but you will still have people owning them, and instead of financing a new car, will be bank loaned up throwing silly money at a £500 car with made up power figures and unreliability.

BMW 3-series would have been a sufficient response... Sure you don't want to include the words Exclusive, AC Schnitzer or even Alpina ?

Talking of running old cars.. My father in-law offered me quite a tidy Sierra Cosworth for a good price and I did seriously consider it.. Then I thought to myself.. Will I ever actually drive it or will it just sit on the drive rusting?

I love all the big power corsas on here, seem to get one run up the strip, blow something up, spend 6 months fixing bits, repeat.

Every car should be a daily imo.
Fed up with people pretending they are speical by buying old cars and keeping them as weekend cars, kidding themselves they are a pistonhead, just buy something and drive it.
Car shows are another waste of time as well, i swear if people could they would take their house to a house show if it meant they could show it off.
People are too busy doing things for the opinions of others rather than buying something and enjoying it quietly.
I therefore declare any "scene" is really people bumming each other because they have the same car, can name all the aftermarket parts but know nothing about their car apart from what's bolted on it that shouldn't be there

its been over 2 years since I needed to fix anything, and it's done more miles than my BMW has in that time. Just for reference.

It has enough components on it to make it handle well as well. It's a road car.
