I think he would've wanted it to continue.
I know he was the main character along with vin, so maybe they can sort something out.
It'll be a fitting tribute to finish the one they're currently filming anyway, rather than scrapping it.

He could have died from impact with the tree, as he was passenger there's a good chance. If not it may have knocked him out then died from the fire.

It's fair to say Vin Diesel is in pieces if his Twitter is anything to go by. Seems like Paul Walker was a genuinely decent chap.

Yeah Ben I noticed he's twitter he's torn to bits. I actually like the fast and furious films and think Paul is a good actor. Shame to lose someone who does a lot for charity too. Feel for the chaps family.

Actually gutted and normally these celebrity deaths don't affect me. Thnk it's cause he was a genuinely nice guy who just kept himself to himself in private life. Massive shame.

Can't decide if his death is sad, ironic, poetic or all of the above.
They've been filming FnF7 for two and a half month, so chances are a lot of his scenes are wrapped. Will be curious to see how they go about it, but they'll definitely be releasing some variation of the film, including the scenes shot with Paul.
If shooting hasn't wrapped they'll have heaps of unused footage from all the other FnF films that they'll be able to CGI together to something halfway believable, which will probably just about fit the standard they're usually aiming for with these films. 
Most likely he'll just suddenly die and they'll leave it at that. Some scripted crash that he was supposed to have survived will result in him dying.
Or, they could always go all "Imaginarium" on it and have his role divided between a few different actors. Of course, it'll work probably just as well and seamlessly as it did in Imaginarium, but still...

Its been reported that the bodies are so badly burnt that it'll take them days to properly id them so of course any 'death' pictures are fake.
