disgaree on noble, considering some of the shit that has and does play for the national team noble is head and shoulders above those

10 times the player cleverly, jenus, livermoor, hudlestone etc is and if he was playing for a top 4 team youd have a weekly MOTD wankathon by liniker etc

Tbf, I have only see the sky matches, but he just doesn't seem to have come on from being a prospect when playing for the u21s. Can't argue he's better than Cleverly, Livermore, or Jenas though, but there's few that arent

carrick is solid and can slow a game down, would've been useful in the heat.

Stones deserves a shot, but doubt he will get the call

happy with that

Lamps is reliable, and has the experience the younger players will be able to feed off.

Hopefully Roy will ask Ashley to go as part of his coaching staff

Cole and Walker both being left out was a bit of a surprise, Walker moreso. Jones and Smalling as cover for Johnson it looks like.

Hoping Carroll goes.

As boring as it is, he is what England need when things aren't going their way.

Carrick can slow the game down, which is good and bad in equal measures. I would rather Huddlestone went for that role.
Lampard is a good addition, if for his leadership qualities alone. The young players will look to Gerrard/Lampard/Rooney when times are tough.
I hope Andy C goes too. If only because I love the guy. That and the fact that nobody in the PL can deal with his physicality, so I doubt there's much that could when plan A doesn't work.

Lambert supposedly told he's in the squad which would make you think he'll be back up.

Would never have picked Ben Foster after his paddy but cant argue he's probs in the top 3 of England keepers.

Henderson, Lallana, Wilshere, Barkley, Gerrard AND Lampard is too much, Carrick at least offers something different. Shaw (not to mention Flanagan!!!) ahead of Gibbs is laughable, nevermind ahead of Cashley the big game player. Otherwise, spot on IMO.

Lambert in the 23 The lad is good, but WC good?
Aside from OX and Sterling, that's a pretty slow midfield as well. If one or the other get injured, they're fucked.

Yes but the point is he's a big game player. Clearly Roy fancies Baines though
