This stuff is incredibly tough though John. It's more like a plastic than a conventional cable insulation.

If you held a couple of feet of the cable out in front of you, it would barely droop or bend, if at all.

My brothers got Cyrus audio stuff,sounds so,so good but bloody expensive.but he got quite a bit of as he worked there

Looking at getting a DAC now, didn't really know about all this before buying the amp, so amp doesn't have a DAC or a USB input.

Even if i had known i doubt i would of wanted to fork out £600-700 for the better amp.

Find i am using my samsung S3 for music, sounds better than the ipod but still feel there is improvement to be had.

My brother is giving me his denon CD player, although still not sure i can be bothered with CD's.

I keep meaning to set up my stereo, I havnt set it up since since I moved in a year ago. Iv got all the fancy cables etc but it seems such a hassle when I get an 'adequate' sound from my JBL iPod Dock

Does my AV reciever count as a stereo?
Thats running doorbell wire to all the speakers...wrapped around the binding posts.

I doubt id see any sound difference with good cable + this sits nicely under my carpet.

Probably wouldn't easier to run half decent cable the first time though, which still sits fine under the carpet.

No - ones stereo, the other is multi-channel
