I still maintain the gearbox/stick in the DS3 shouldn't feel like it does brand new
Nice car btw Jambo.
I wouldn't mind one if it wasn't for the small boot - I ideally want some Focus sized for the bikes.

Missus likes these, won't buy one though due to the lack of 4 doors, c3 looks shit as well lol. I did drive one a few years back and was impressed!

Looks ok i guess.
I wouldn't have one, if i was wasting money on leasing it would have to be something a bit better - Corsa VXR (since this is a corsa site)

Mine seems fine Deano? It's no M3, but then I wouldn't expect it to be. It's a good balance between sporty and refined. Slick, smooth and positive, throw is very long but it's a cheap car so yeah
I filled up earlier, reset the trip and took a gentle relaxing drive home in next to no traffic rolling up to junctions and smooth gear changes etc....
44.5mpg
Cost bugger all to fill up as well. Bloody love this car!

Thanks for the constructive input Pugnut.
The Citroen is far cheaper than the VXR, thus less money to "waste", it is also far cheaper to insure, no tax to be be paid, and it is extremely good on petrol unlike the VXR. It is also better looking, more stylish and has more equipment as standard.

That was very "perfect" driving conditions though.
Normal round town figure is 35-37mpg

I thought the one I test drove felt pretty sharp - very good for cable actuation.

Nice one James, always give these a second look on the roads. Originally marketed as "anti retro" which I think describes them perfectly.
Interior looks fantastic.
Never a big fan of the soft open top. Needs to be glass or steel, imo. Though I do see the appeal.
There's one outside my window right now in flat grey with burgundy/brown roof and mirrors. Want to hate that colour combo, but it's just not happening.

WOW! Held up well for the front occupants but I wouldn't want to be in the back seats! I think my pelvis would be in the transits engine bay!

5* Ncap rating so I guess that's rpetty typical these days. But as stated fuck being in the back!!
Also lol @ Instant C1
Thanks again for positive comments. Incase anyone missed it, the Convertible was considerably cheaper than the hatch hence why I went for it. Though now having it I am glad I did. Despite the rediculous boot it is quite nice with the roof slid back. Just got to wait for some better weather to try it out.

That pictures looks great, that would actually give me confidence in the car. Look how well the driver area has held up!
Jambo, it'll get better as it runs in. Give it 20k though. My old mans returns around 50mpg (DS5, same engine I think, 1.6 TD, but much heavier). He's not a slouch either. When he goes to France he gets over 50mpg on the run down (300+ miles).
On a slightly related note to car impacts, and the mis-conception on the old "yank tanks" built like brick shithouses Vs modern tinny materials. Well, I was shocked...

Crickey. That bel air driver is never going home again!
Mines a 1.6t petrol Daimo! I'm averaging about 32/33 with aircon/heated screen etc on short stop start journeys. If I got 33mpg from the bm I'd need a 100mile 60mph journey!

If it makes you feel better, my 2.0 petrol returns 28mpg, 31mpg on long runs
Give it some miles, it should loosen up and improve though. Didn't realise they done petrol and derv 1.6 turbos. Remap remap remap

100% not remapping the standard ravings go pop day in day out so I daren't touch it. It's plenty nippy in standard guise. Was three up the other night and it never even felt much different to when I'm in it on my own. It's not a rocket ship but the torque means it's got go when needed.
Having a small car again has now made my want for an Abarth even more
