I own one and it's far from average. Iv got black panel display and it looks great. The dials are great, you can change the colour etc through iDrive.

Must admit as much as the BMW dash is good the audi stuff is leagues ahead in terms of quality

Howev to drive the BMW is leagues ahead in terms of feel and feedback

The audi does seem to ride better than the bmw's at the moment

Have fun doing this in your FWD hatch with a faux AWD system bolted on.

Don't get me wrong, I love the M135i but that's a terrible argument. Nobody drives like that in reality.

Not sure why they didn't use the Golf R, and pretty miffed they didn't review the Merc, and where was the S3?

But as I said, for a daily use car, the golf is still the better motor. Bigger and more space and 4wd which on the road, is better.

For driver pleasure, the 135i is a great car, but then if you want a drivers car, would you get a 135?

Its the people who buy them imo and the fact there are so many about, looses all the appeal for me.

Maybe its a mental issue but i hate seeing other people the same car, or say your driving a Golf R and you see Mrs Boyle driving about in a CL version. Just seems wrong as its the same car really.

Thats fair. You enjoy a ''niche'' car. I'm similar. Don't see many old shape z4's here.

When i'm driving the other halfs fiesta, I must see at least 50 of them within 10 miles.

That's a supercar slayer though, with space for the dog to chuck up in the boot and your kids to shit their nappies, all whilst going on a camping holiday.

Good cars or cheap? Must be doing something right. They've been a best seller for a long while now.
