That was half my point - you could get something newer, or with fewer miles, or bigger for the same money. £5.7k for a 2001 on 150k is nuts. They don't half hold the money.

Yes but it will still be worth something when he sells
exactly.

T5 isn't out of the question.

Seems the best way to make them worth a lot less is to associate them with wheelchair users.

Saw a few T5s at that price but you'd need to rip out all the alterations.

Also might be cheaper to start with a van and make the changes yourself - not sure if this is legit or not but you've over a grand to play with on a newer van.

As I said above, I want to leave some money and make very little changes so I can afford a new bike and have some money to save at the end. I'd rather not buy old builders van for cheap then spend lots on it

Fair enough, they just look over priced to me. I've spent most of my adult life in a Transit, so have a fondness for them.

Same colour as mine, I'm just getting mine booked in for a full respray and tidying up. £2500 with a few repair panels.

That Transit is OK but needs setting up so it doesn't look broken.

It's a transit. They fall to bits. Worked for years with them as fleet vehicles. No thanks.

No mate, I have thought about them but I'd be wanting back seats in the t4 so I can still take 5 people about should I need to etc. can get 5 bikes, 5 people and 5 lots of stuff in a t4 no problems.
