Schurrle will be dreading the final whistle. That's two weeks in a row that he's left his man and its resulted in a goal.

Was a farce but still no excuse for the state of the defending after that.

Frustrating as we have as good forward players as anyone but the defending is going to cost us a lot of points if something isn't done soon

This is all a plan by LVG to make teams think they can come and attack against us, rather than sit back making it difficult, thus leaving them open for our strong attacking force to score

What I don't understand, is why LVG refuses to play Rojo in the centre with Shaw on the left. Rojo played at CB for Sporting But Evans is injured and Blackett suspended so you never know

Or why Blind isn't played as a defender when we have the issues we have.

Problem yesterday was he was trying to fit too many strikers in. Rvp should have been dropped for mata which in turn would have allowed blind to play a defensive mid role like he was playing against qpr.

Took a gamble and it was paying off until things turned sour. Maybe should have switched things round and defended the lead but its not the United way.

Blind can play at the back, but he's nowhere near as effective as a CB, but with Evans and Blackett out, and I can only assume Smalling is injured? They might have no choice. I wouldn't have started Falcao, as he's clearly still not match fit.

How would playing Mata have a bearing on him playing defensive mid? Mata would have been top of the diamond, same as Rooney was. Blind would still have been at the bottom of the diamond in front of the defence

Blind was clearly pushing forward because of the gaps left by all the strikers trying to get in on the act of scoring, rooney included

Ok so if Mata's playing where Rooney was and he goes trying to get in on the act which is what he tends to do as well how is that any better?
