£50m = English player tax. Probably a £20m player if he was Spanish.

Even then its generous. He's a rapid young player who blows hot and cold.

Whilst that's hugely ambitious, the new stadium (if they can fill it), plus a promise of transfer funds could be enough to bring in a decent manager.
They should also be trying to tie down Alex Song on a permanent deal. Although his early form seems to have dropped.

I'd like to see Song stay. But the regulars on the facebook page don't seem happy with his second half of the season and don't seem to want him.
Gotta go for the top managers I suppose, no matter how ridiculous it sounds

Quite possibly the greatest announcement ever about Fat Sam
Really let us down the 2nd half of the season. The players appeared to have zero motivation and unfortunately that falls on the manager.

All that fucking money and they are aiming for Schneiderlin? He wasn't anythig special this season, and he will cost not far off Vidal money.

2 bids in excess of £110 million been rejected, for Bale & Varane

I don't for a second believe that's true.
And surely they'll want to recoup their money on Bale, and they'll probably want Psg Luiz money for Varane who is arguably going to be one of the best defenders in the world

Milner signs for Liverpool on a free. Great signing that

Dont get this.
I think hes a good player, and a good player for Liverpool too, however going by what the fans are clammering for I think its pretty underwhelming.
Liverpool are guilty of buying way to many 'ok' players, they need to start dipping into their pockets if they have any hope of meeting aspirations.
Milner isnt even first choice for England any more

Milner was a player I liked at City but he is a jack of all trades master of none. I think the £165k a week we were offering him can be better spent elsewhere, just need to hope Yaya moves on now too but that's not looking too good. the reason we were offering so much was totally down to the home grown quota rules.

as a free signing, Milner is pretty damn good business tbh. The fact that he isn't a starter for England isn't exactly terrible either

Plus a good number of million as a signing on fee. Bet it sits close to £200k a week over the course of the contract.

He would of been upward of 15m so it'll all even out
