I am doing. Over a grand sat on drive wasting away that will be driven maybe twice a year.
TBH That is why I never got one until I had a garage so I could just put it away and forget about it when not using it - would annoy me just seeing it sat on the drive getting dirty and not being used.
Plus it's mega cheap for me to insure one now I am in my 30's

It just sits on the driveway, neither of us can I sure it as it costs more to insure than my Astra! We can insure it on day insurance but it means it's sat collecting dust for like 11 months. With it being an old car aswell most insurance companies won't even touch me on it

Last time I was in that situation my XE GSi was stolen that I had ploughed about 10k in to and wasn't insured as they wanted more for that as a second car than my S3
Sorry, all doom and gloom here but I have been there mate! Suggest you try and rent a council garage and stick it away if you are not planning on using it !

Shame to see you selling up already, although I agree it's pretty pointless having a car you don't/can't drive.

Have you tried classic insurance? Mine is insured with Footman James for £170 a year on a limited mileage policy (5000 miles).
