Each policy earns it's own,
But you can only use each one on one policy if that makes sense,

Another example of this last week, not insurance though, breakdown cover.

Have been with the RAC for 15 years. Renewal came through, £15 a month, checked on line for a new quote £8.86 a month for all the same options.

Took out the online quote and rang to cancel my existing one to be told that I cant do that because if you cancel with them you have to wait 120 days before you can take out a new policy - so basically forced to accept the higher price and not have access to the lower "new customer" price.

Girl was extremely rude too, and when she couldn't match the new price I told her I wanted to cancel and she put the phone down.

Ended up going with AA.

Don't get me started on auto renewal too, how can a new contract be formed when you haven't even agreed it or signed it? What if you don't get the letter in the post? - guy at work had this, found out it had auto renewed 2 weeks ago, and was asked to pay 100 quid to cancel! his "auto renewal" was three times higher than the previous year, fucking legal scam imo.

It needs to be regulated correctly, but unfortunately as the government make money on it through tax, they won't bother sorting it out.

Had you used them at all during the year? They try to put it up if you do.

Same here. Unsure what you actually get in that package though. Probably the shittest most basic package ever.

Gf got AA cover through her bank account. It was free but the fly bastards just took £76 out her account said that was how much it would be for the year as it was only free the 1st year. Quick phone call seen them return it and told to piss off.

Steve doesn't either. He gets his old queen to ring them up.
