I'm with Hamilton, Hulkenberg, etc. on this one. It's an open cockpit, open wheel racing formula. This device, whilst having good intentions, only serves to further sterilize and dilute the sport IMO.

Agreed. It's either open or closed cockpit. No silly in between rubbish.
I'm happy either way, but half arsed attempts at appeasing everybody just ruins everything.

Just checked and C4 have same commentating team( Coulthard and Ben Edwards) Also have Choudok and Bruno Senna(meh) Suzi Wolf replaces Suzi Perry as eye candy. along with Prost and new Presenter guy seems they have enough people to run a small F1 team

Obviously I'd love Lewis to get 3 in a row but it has to be more exciting than last year. Far too often I sat down excited to see the race and was bored to death after 10-15 laps.

Looks like a few teams have misunderstood the KO Qualification rules...
Haas had both drivers on hot laps but without enough time to complete them before their 90s elapsed.

Not great.
Seemed as though the teams were looking a bit closer packed though. During Q2 there was only about half a second splitting 3rd to 13th. That can only be a good thing.
