As for what i drive, I bought with practicality in mind, not because i'm worried about what people will think.
Mines practical 4 doors and ample boot space for the push chair. But then again I have the discovery 3 to put it in to.

The silly grill needs sorting though, cheapens it imo.
Had the abarth 500 before hand and I can chuck this if not better than the abarth and have more fun! It's a great piece of machinery. £100 worth of oil to be put in this week though
Have you ever driven a 'modern' Impreza? i.e. blobeye/hawkeye... just wondering if you can compare the handling and chuckability of them to yours. I had a blobeye STI and whilst it was awesome and very fast (slightly tuned over the PPP package) I just didn't feel as I was having as much fun in it as my Clio 182.

Think the major difference is the driveability. Had an r26 which was immense but you can't beat the raw driving of a non turbo car my mates 172 is immense fun compared to the r26. I've never liked how an sti drives there isn't much feedback imo.
I test drove a new 135i again immense car but the turbo spoiled it.

Not my car but picking up my exhaust system tomorrow. This is the same system not hanging properly though.
Compared to my mates c63 the m5 is silent hopefully this will open it up a little!

Ive never looked at this thread before as I thought it was a Nic Barnes dreaming of owning a M5 thread but alas not thank god.
These cars are epic. When they used them as the ring taxi I went out in one and it was stupidly rapid. Very understated car
