my car standard is worth 2k ish, wudnt sell it 4 less than 4.5k cos iv sunk 4 grand in2 it so not much point really plus im only 17 so there en much point in gettin rid of a nice car at my age

look daniel, my problem is not with you, nor with sooty, but i find it hard not to comment when people continuously think they know better than everyone else.
I don't try to think that i know better than you, but i do have experience in car prices after being taken to the auction since i was a child, and i can't figure out why you seem to both think you are in the right regarding fords when neither of you has owned one, so can not really comment.

a mint nova is a classic car, just like any that has a very strong group of followers and enthusiasts.
look at the rs owners club etc, they stoped making them years ago and they still fetch a lot of money and were out the same time as novas
if u like it and want to spend the money, then do it. not every1 wants to drive 3 year old standard cars
