I had a Punto GT (GT3) and it slaughtered 106 GTi's in a straight line but didn't handle as well on the twisty bits. I put an exhaust, filter and SEB2 chip on my Punto GT and it left a new shape Clio 172 from 5Mph to 100Mph. Some of the lads on Puntosports.co.uk have run almost 15 seconds flat over 1/4 mile with only exhauts and filters.

Although I'll be the first to admitt that the 106 GTi is more fun when it comes to corners - alot more fun. Its nice to have the power and the dump valve and the awsome exhaust note of the Punto GT but the handling of the 106 GTi rivals the best FWD cars.

what do u suggest getting, which has the better performance/most reliabilty
[Edited on 25-06-2003 by jr]
Why would u want to? IMO corsas werent meant for engine conversions, theyre too heavy and handle crap. They do however look better than every other hot hatch around
