Well i've had 3 runs at PVS (which wasn't exactly a cold day!!)
I have 16"s
Heavy car
1/2 tank of juice
I think 15 dead should be obtainable in cooler weather.

Sorry for miss-quoting re the 106 thing.
What I meant was there was No Standard Corsa 2.0 16v.
Obviously a well modded Corsa (2.0 valver) will beat a standardish Integra.
Throw in some corners thou and we'll see..

Heavy wheels do slow you down..
Lightweight 15's are the weigh forward..
17's on an Integra lose the equivilent of 10-15bhp
If you've got torque then it doesnt effect it as much, but as someones already said the ITR doesnt have a great deal of torque
130lb/ft ish. IIRC
for every 1lb in rotation weight (ie wheels) its the equivilent to 20lbs in extra car weight.. also with large wheels the weight is further out from the centre- increasing the effect..
Ive got 17's on the teg at the moment (2002 CTR wheels), theres a noticable difference between them and the 16's ive got.
Selling the CTR wheels on sunday. Buying some Advans - £1400 new for 16's WITHOUT tyres!!
Ive been offered an as new set for a grand with Dunlop Formula R's (cut slicks)
The advans are 12lbs in 16" !!!!
Find me some lighter wheels than that!

Super leggeras are not as light as that mate..
If I remeber correctly they are 12lb for a 15"??
Bare in mind you can get 15" advans - 8-9lb depending on width

In response to first question yes i'm bored of my corsa, getting it sorted to sell in next 2-3 months, then either getting clio 16v (steering towards that now ) or punto gt.
And on the ITR's yes they are decent enough cars, but I beleive the ATR's are just as good performance wise and fit people in back and look swish also
Would rather an ATR personally.

The ATR's are nice yes..
But the ITR is the Racer of the Type R's..
More chuckable, more stripped, more feedback, more type R.
The ATR has got more torque..
But then so's a Golf TDI
Torque is for when you want to put your foot down in 5th and go..
You dont need torque when you're in the right gear

Besides, a car with Torque is easy to drive..
Get it wrong with an Integra R and you'll be doing 15's+
Get it right and 14.5's can be acheived..
my 14.8 was the first time I ran the car, only had one attempt.
To get the car to go you have to thrash it, but thats what it was built for.
Before the ITR I had a Prelude 2.2 VTEC (Jap import) Modded that to 214bhp (VAFC, CAI and Kakimoto racing cat-back)
Reved that to the Limiter every day for 2 years- never had ONE problem with the car.
That only reved to 7800 as it was a 2.2 ( wrong rod/stroke ratio for revving high )
I hit 0-60 in 6.2 seconds (timed on an apexi RSM) with that.
JDM car with no airbags etc
You cant beat them for the reliabilty and grin factor.

Revving to 9k rpm mmm
Maybe you should try a 'modded up' Corsa then...
Original Vaux 1.6 engine, taken to 214bhp, 146lb/ft of torque and 9000rpm
mmm...
Seriously though, I love Teggies - great performance out of the box. Have you considered TBs and engine management?? You'll get an extra 35bhp straightaway and extra torque right through the rev range. I've seen one on TBs and believe me it flies

Andy, i watched it happen. Sinkyboy, PVS2003, 15"s, no rear seats, ind kit, rear box, 14.7!!!
He got a 15.0 and fluffed the gearchange. Got that on video!
Vibrio, have you ever been to Brunters? 1st half, as said sooo many times, is uphill.
AS for TB corsas, i only counted two, Andys, and Steves. Steve's car is full with ICE in teh back in a false floor, rollcage, 17"s.

By standard, i always mean ind kit and exhaust as pretty much every modified car has one.
And you cannot put the standard exhaust on the 2.0ltire Corsa, and u have to use an induction kit also.
Please do not try to correct me regarding vauxhalls vibrio.
3 TB cars, yes, 1 of them was a saxo, we are talking about corsas.
Please keep to the point (if you can) without trying some other bullsh1t argument.
