The Nova is one of the classic Hot Hatches. Its has a huge following and history in motorsport and is a proven car. Easy to tune, fix, build, just perfect for the clubman. However, the Corsa as I said above probably wont ever have the following that the Nova has.

The Escort RST's are better spec'ed, easier to tune and handle better. They are a better hot hatch IMO.

The nova may well be one of the first hot hatches but that doesn't make it good. Its way way down the list of capable hatches.

Escorts arent Hot Hatches though!!!

And the Nova is one of the best Hot Hatches. Its competition proven - why do you think they're still used in competition today???

As for Talbot Sunbeams - great rally cars, but arent really Hot Hatch material - not sure why...

A hot hatch is all about fun and I challenge anyone to drive a Cooper S and not get out with a huge grin on their face.

or feel like they want to buy a red dress

Escorts are classed as hot hatches. A 306 is bigger than a MK4 escort.

Novas were popular because they are cheap.

no, I am not being offensive and I'm not bothered about your opinion on the punto. I was mearly wondering why you made the comment about the punto's when you were replying to steve who owns a 106 GTi thats all
